It is important to me to remember where we all have come from. As a first generation immigrant I have had my share of rough patches and sometimes even tough times.
First I think it is important for all of us to remember where we have come from and during tough times never forget that there is hope. Second, I think it is important to keep judgements in place and lastly keep our privileges in check and support our less fortunate population. For me as a person of color and former director of diversity, equity and inclusion is imperative to support our brown and black queer community. I am grateful to be able to support Denver Street Stories- Thank you!
